I am a researcher, writer, and aspiring industrial-organizational (I/O) psychologist born and raised in Vietnam. My work sits at the intersection of human behavior and statistical analysis, merging qualitative psychological concepts with data science methods to study systemic and individual human phenomena.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) and a Minor in Data Science. Since graduation, I have focused on using statistical modeling to quantify, understand, and address behavioral and organizational challenges.
Research Interests
My academic inquiries and research focus principally on three major spheres:
- Psychometrics & Quantitative Modeling: Validating measurement scales, modeling latent psychological variables, and researching behavioral patterns using statistical tools like R and Python.
- Human Sexuality & Adulthood Development: Investigating attachment styles, intimacy, relationship dynamics, and how adulthood development influences interpersonal connection.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Examining regional inequality, systemic discrimination, and institutional barriers in both academic and organizational environments.
A Vision for Knowledge Equity
My academic drive is fueled by a desire to address the disparities in my home country, Vietnam. I believe that structural inequalities—whether economic, social, or physical—often stem from gaps in accessible, scientific knowledge.
My long-term ambition is to use statistical and research tools to gather data on topics that are often under-studied or under-reported:
- Mapping provincial and regional discrimination.
- Quantifying gender disparities and the prevalence of domestic abuse.
- Empowering underprivileged communities in Vietnam with scientific tools and educational access.
I see science not just as an academic pursuit, but as a vehicle for social equity. By building robust datasets and analyzing human behaviors, I hope to contribute to narrowing the knowledge divide and making a meaningful impact on my society.
Connect with Me
I am always open to discussing research collaborations, statistical methodology, I/O psychology, or data science applications in social science.
